The following list represents all of the occupations on the current ‘Green List’ of occupations. These occupations provide either a direct route to Residence or a pathway to Residence after two years of work in New Zealand. This list will be updated periodically as occupations are added or taken away.

  • Remuneration for the employment over the 24 month qualifying period must be $44.49 per hour or above), or the equivalent annual salary ($92,540 per annum)

    Common examples of job titles for this role are site supervisor, site manager, site foreman, build supervisor, build manager, civil project manager

  • Role offered must be as a Crane Operator only. Remuneration for the employment over the 24 month qualifying period must be $38.56 per hour or above), or the equivalent annual salary ($80,200 per annum)

    The applicant must also have a New Zealand Level 3 Certificate in Cranes with at least one Level 4 specialisation (or overseas equivalent) at the time of application for residence.
